On Modern Warfare III, I led the Character & Weapon Tech Art teams at Sledgehammer Games. Supporting a high-volume AAA character & weapon pipeline. Where quality, speed, and performance all have to land at the same time.
In addition to day-to-day production leadership, I also pushed forward ML research for auto-skinning as an exploration into faster, more consistent character deformation workflows.
Key Contributions
- Led the Character & Weapon Tech Art teams; trained and managed internal and outsource artists.
- Developed and maintained modeling, rigging, and animation workflows to support large-scale production.
- Created proprietary tools for animation, rigging, game preview, and cloth simulation to improve iteration speed and reliability.
- Skinned high-fidelity characters, including celebrity likenesses (including Snoop Dogg!).
- Balanced and optimized character assets for in-engine performance while protecting deformation quality.
