Arizona Sunshine: Contagion Z (2019) | Nomadic VR
This was a location-based VR experience, where users use advanced, tetherless headsets, haptic gear, and motion tracking to explore virtual worlds.
As a Technical Artist, I contributed across modeling, rigging, animation, and 3D scanning, supporting rapid iteration and keeping assets production-ready for VR performance constraints.
On the technical side, I also worked on gameplay scripting that interfaced with physical components like servos, gyros, and actuators, helping synchronize real-world motion and effects with what the player was seeing and feeling in VR. Traditional game dev meets “we’re moving actual machines now”… which was as fun as it sounds.
